Bungalow Bay Koala Village is the only resort in Australia that can boast its own on site wildlife park. In-house guests, day visitors and island residents have the opportunity to learn and importantly interact with our unique wildlife, a key principle in taking away important conservation messages.
There are 3 daily tours conducted with onsite rangers offering up close and personal experiences with our native Australian Wildlife. The tour lasts approximately two hours and is within the wildlife park where you can wrap yourself in a python, hold a lizard, small saltwater crocodile and get to know the icon of Magnetic Island – the koala. Freshwater crocodiles can also be seen on display.
